120 days later, we finally received our keys and a bottle of Moet! X and G finally get to see their soon to be home after hearing about it for 4 months. E manage to look at the place during the final inspection about 2 weeks before handover. X and G are very excited to find the park and playground right behind the house. Here's some photo. Somewhat realise there's much to do... We were torn between modernising the house or keeping it's 60s character. After much deliberation we decided for the modern look. We though we'll have a wider audience in case we plan to sell the house in near future. Furthermore it's really expensive to get nice "retro" fittings and furniture thats in good shape. So here's a wish list:
1. Update kitchen with bigger stove since E loves cooking
2. Renovate bathroom and add toilet into bathroom
3. Rip off carpet and polish timber floor
4. Change lighting
5. Paint roof, windows and eaves
6. Paint interior
7. Under floor insulation?
8. Solar?
9. New bathroom and bedroom?
10. Maybe a new fireplace or 2?
11. Reverse cycle a/c for rooms?
